History

Founded almost 20 years ago, in 2006, Amgest is an independent wealth management boutique based in Lugano (Switzerland) providing long-term portfolio management solutions, network pooling, and first-class wealth advisory services to high-net-worth individuals and institutions.

Amgest SA is proud to be vigilated and authorized by FINMA in accordance with the regulations of the FinSA (Financial Services Act), FinIA (Financial Institutions Act) and AMLA (Anti-Money Laundering Act). The firm is subject to the vigilance of AOOS and an annual audit by BDO to ensure that it is complying with the provisions of MLA (Money Laundering Act).

Additionally, Amgest is a member of the Swiss Association of Asset Managers / ASG and affiliated to the AOOS (Supervisory Board for Asset Managers and Trustees).

  • Massimo has over 25 years of wealth management experience.

    Before co-founding Amaranto SIM and later Amgest SA, he held positions at various financial institutions such as: BNL Gestioni SGR, Rothschild (SJPC), Abbey National Bank, Gestire SGR.

    Massimo graduated in Political Science from the University of Milan.

  • Marco has over 20 years of experience as Financial Trustee and Business Consultant.

    He is Managing Director at Fiduciaria Ferrecchi SA and sits on the board of directors of various companies, both in Switzerland and abroad.

    Marco graduated in Business Economics at Bocconi University in Milan.

  • Dario is a third-generation entrepreneur with almost 30 years of experience in business management.

    He is the President of Spinelli Holding SA, which encompasses several entrepreneurial projects, including Spinelli SA, Ticicom SA, Ortelli SAGL, and Bioevolution SA. He is a board member of Spinelli SA, the founder and president of the Entrepreneurship Association, and a partner and president of Leality SA.

    Over the years, he has held managerial positions in various companies and associations.

    Dario graduated from the Lugano Chamber of Commerce as a Business Economist and Company Head.



  • Andrea has over 25 years of experience as a Private Banker.

    Before joining Amgest SA in 2023 he worked as a Relationship Manager for various financial institutions in Switzerland, like UBS, Alpina Assicurazioni, Banco di Lugano, Clariden Leu and Patrimony 1873.

    Andrea holds both the Federal Diploma of Marketing Technician and Banking Generalist.

  • Andrea has over 20 years of portfolio management experience matured working for several Swiss financial institutions.

    Before joining Amgest SA in 2020 as Chief Investments Officer he had covered the same role at Sogepa SA and CPM SA.

    Andrea graduated in Business Economics at Bocconi University in Milan.

    The company specialises in: internal audits, compliance, risk management and information security.

  • In acknowledgment of our clients' expressed interest in allocating a segment of their wealth to private equity transactions, we have chosen to collaborate with an exceptionally skilled team in this field, giving rise to IntegritAm.

    The joint venture between Amgest SA and the Maurizio Bianco and Giovanna Voltolina team enables us to maintain the autonomy of our corporate and organizational structures. Simultaneously, it provides individual investors access to extensive expertise and the essential capital for effective operations.

  • Martino has over 25 years of experience in Asset Management and in the financial industry. He specializes in European and North American value investing.

    Previously he worked at Edmond de Rothschild in Milan and was CIO of Julius Baer SIM.

    Martino is currently part of the Investment Committee of Amgest SA and brings his priceless expertise as an independent member.

  • Vittorio has over 20 years of experience in investment banking and fund management.

    Before joining Amgest SA in 2021 he managed structured product portfolios and quantitative investments for San Paolo – IMI and Credit Suisse. He also worked as a fund manager, in charge of volatility trading and of new quantitative strategies.

    He holds an MSc degree in Theoretical Physics from the University of Milan.

  • Teresa has over 30 years of experience as an Executive Assistant & Business Operations which she developed working at Swiss companies in multiple industrial sectors, from logistics to pharmaceuticals.

    She worked for over ten years for Globus Travel Services and for over twenty years for Helsinn Healthcare SA as Commercial & Legal Secretary.

    Teresa speaks four languages.

  • Danilo Sepe has a vast and multifaceted experience of over 25 years in the field of Private Banking. His professional career has developed through leading international financial and banking institutions, passing through the Wealth Management division of Citigroup NA – where he has been responsible for HNWI customers –, and followed by an equally significant experience at Banca Euromobiliare.

    Subsequently, his professional career has seen him involved in companies of the caliber of Kairos Julius Baer and Edmond de Rothschild Suisse. He joined Amgest SA as Relationship Manager in March 2023.

  • Matteo has consolidated experience in private equity, project management, business development, and wealth management.

    Before joining Amgest SA in 2023, he worked as a private equity analyst for a pharmaceutical fund and then as business developer for a Swiss Asset Management firm.

    Matteo owns certifications in Corporate Finance from NYU Stern, Exponential Technologies from Singularity University, and Private Equity & Venture Capital from both Berkeley Haas and Bocconi.

  • Matteo has over 30 years of experience in the Wealth Management industry for HNWI, where he held various management roles in business development and marketing departments.

    He worked in primary financial institutions, first in Italy (CREDEM Bank SPA) and since 1999 in Switzerland, where he contributed to set-up Euromobiliare Bank (Suisse) and where he worked as Deputy Director to manage and conduct client's development and acquisition team.

    He joined Amgest SA in 2020 as Chief Commercial Officer.
